Peregrination

I venture on a vague endless road
The type which has no return path
My unlearned mind unable to comprehend the trials that lie ahead

Unknown to the knowledge of travel, I aimlessly move forward
My destination unknown, my path uncharted.

Many do I meet on the road,
Each one; carrying his own philosophy of the ambiguous trail.
Unbeknownst to myself, each one as lost as I am

The fear of change forges them into their charted present state.
Their misguided knowledge barricades true wisdom.
Always learning new things but never truly understanding the truth.

As I embark on this journey of discovery, I realise that it’s not the destination that defines a man.
Rather it is the route he takes to get there.

What do you think?
